The COLOR CLIMAX story began in 1968, with the reform of the Danish pornography laws, and the publication of COLOR CLIMAX 1. A few years before this reform, the 2 brothers were already active in the sale of Hardcore material, which could be bought "under the counter" in their modest secondhand shop in Copenhagen (Denmark), Pornography at that time was not at a particulary high standard, and the brothers wanted to produce a sex mag that would outshine anything else on the market. The 1968 reform came and they were ready to transform the seed of an idea into what was to become - as the C.C.C slogan says - THE FIRST, BIGGEST and MOST PORNOGRAPHIC sex magazine in the world.
